Purple session sequence

A four-session arc for working through purple team practice as collaborative sessions rather than as documentation. The sequence is editorial: each session feeds the next.

  1. Scenario labs, explore plausible situations and experiment with responses.

  2. Live experiments, test team responses with controlled, real-time challenges.

  3. Rapid retrospectives, capture lessons immediately, before they fade.

  4. Collaborative playbooks, turn lessons into practical guidance.

Working through the four in order produces a shared understanding of how scenarios might unfold, hands-on experience responding to simulated challenges, and practical playbooks the team has built rather than been handed.

The sessions are designed to be iterative and adaptable. Repeat, tweak, and learn continuously.
