Incident response & crisis facilitation

Stick figure scene showing communication chaos during a live simulation. One stick figure is typing wildly on a laptop labeled 'OPS'. Another is speaking into a megaphone labeled 'COMMS' while a third covers their ears. Speech bubbles contain conflicting messages: 'SITE DOWN!' and 'ALL FINE!'.

Most incident response plans are written for a calm, rational team following a clear sequence of steps. Most incidents do not arrive that way. The gap between the plan and the reality is not a training problem, it is a conditions problem. These exercises and playbooks are designed to surface that gap before it matters: to make the assumptions visible, the authority questions explicit, and the coordination failures cheap. The scenario playbooks are not scripts to follow but environments to fail in safely, so that what the organisation learns about itself costs nothing except time.
